It was designed in 1994 by Peter Tolos and Scott Moats. The black of the flag represents the raw black rubber, the yellow is the vibrant exciting streak that rubber brings, the red lines represent the passion that courses through the blood and the single, asymmetrical chevron is quite simply a big “kink” in the normal striped flag.
